The Nest bed and breakfast on Mount Pleasantis is only 15 minutes drive from Christchurch City centre. From the house are spectacular views over the estuary, out to the Pacific Ocean and as far inland as the Southern Alps. A charming retired couple Kai and Kathryn are your neighbours and your hosts. They have spent the last 40 years travelling the world, they are great hosts who like meeting new people and then showing them some real Kiwi hospitality. The Nest B&B offers three different accommodation options;
The Fantail suite, has a queen size bed and a single bed also. It has an en-suite, plus a balcony with garden views.
The Kingfisher suite has a queen size bed and a private bathroom just outside the door. There are views over the garden from this room.
The Waxeye suite offers two single beds in a charming room.
Also with scrumptious full breakfasts, fruit baskets and if you are very lucky homemade cookies too.
Its only two minutes walk to the local bus stop
The house is within walking distance of fabulous beaches
Close by are some very good cafés and restaurants
The hosts will pick you up from Airport or City by arrangement
Children are very welcome at a discounted price. There is a cot and a highchair available also
